Delete boot.img in Port ROM and paste Stock boot.img in Port ROM
Delete/Remove" the following files and folders from PORT ROM folder.
- system/vendor
- system/usr
- system/lib/modules
- system/lib/hw
- system/lib/drm
- system/lib/soundfx
- system/lib/libaudio.primary.default.so
- system/lib/libcamalgo.so
- system/lib/libcameracustom.so
- system/etc/firmware
- system/etc/bluetooth
- system/etc/security
- system/etc/wifi
- system/etc/vold.fstab
- system/etc/vold.fstab.nand
- system/vendor
- system/usr
- system/lib/modules
- system/lib/hw
- system/lib/drm
- system/lib/soundfx
- system/lib/libaudio.primary.default.so
- system/lib/libcamalgo.so
- system/lib/libcameracustom.so
- system/etc/firmware
- system/etc/bluetooth
- system/etc/security
- system/etc/wifi
- system/etc/vold.fstab
- system/etc/vold.fstab.nand
Now open STOCK ROM folder and Copy the above mentioned files from STOCK ROM folder to PORT ROM folder.
This Guide is to Port MediaMod V4 if you have already ported V3 or V2, It is completely recommended that you first download and port Mediamod V3 or V2 For MT6572 and then Port Mediamod V4 For MT6572
LET'S Begin
Replace everything from V4.0 To V2.0 Or V3.0
1. EXTRACT BOTH V2.0 AND V4.0
2. DELETE -
APP, FRAMEWORK, MEDIA, PRIV-APP, FONTS, FOLDER FROM V2.0.
COPY THESE FOLDERS FROM V4.0 To V2.0
3. DELETE BUILD PROP FROM V2.0 AND COPY IT FROM V4.0
4. GO TO VENDOR AND COPY OPERATOR FOLDER FROM V4 TO V2 {IF AVAILABLE}
5. Delete V2.0 META-INF and Use V4.0 META-INF
6. ZIP and Flash
Method 3
Replace From Stock To Port :
- Replace boot.img
- Replace /etc/firmware, security, bluetooth, wifi
- Replace all files from /etc/permissions folder
- Copy all folders from /lib/ folder (skip any folder which is not present in port ROM /lib)
- Replace all the copied folders from stock to port /lib/
- Replace /lib/libaudio.primary.default.so
- Replace /lib/libcamalgo.so
- Edit mount points in /META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script
Note : If you do not have your stock updater-script follow the steps from step 18 to edit mount points without stock-updater-script : Edit mount points
